Hello guys.

I bought a Geeetech I3 B Pro and im having a lot of troubles with the nozzle getting jammed, im using Cura 4.6.1.

If i select a 0.4 layer the print gets done (With bad quality but reach the end of the print), if i change it to a 0.2mm it gets jammed after the firsts layers, in fact using the 0.4 layer sometimes jams also (kinda random), getting the TAK TAK TAK sound from the extruder.

Tried three different filaments, and getting the same result, perhaps there is a problem with my configuration in Cura?

Hi，have you calibrated the extruder? You can follow this step:
Calibration step 1: In order not to expend consumables, the heating end of the feed tube can be pulled out.
Calibration step 2: The feeder feeds a section of consumable filament and clamps it tightly.
Calibration step 3: Select the position of the consumables inlet of the feeder as the starting point, and make a mark at 120mm of the consumable wire.
Calibration step 4: Control the printer to feed the wire 100mm on the LCD.
Calibration step 5: Measure the actual distance from the consumables entrance to the marking just made. If it exceeds 20mm, it means that there is too little wire feeding. If it is less than 20mm, it means too much wire feeding.
Calibration step 6: Calculation formula: new_e_steps = old_e_steps * (100 / distance_actually_moved)
Calibration Step 7: Write the new_e_steps you got back into the machine. Can be set on the screen

Hello, I am a new user of the i3 pro B.

I have the same problem that you describe. Perform as many tests as possible to find me the root of the problem and found that the fault is coming from the board signal. In my case the problem persists when the motor is not loaded. Connect another motor to the extruder outlet in the board and the problem recurs.

I hope you understand what I am trying to say, since I am using a translator.

Sorry i didn't understand what you meant.Can you provide pictures or videos? Here you can upload compressed files

In the attached video it is observed how the filament does not move correctly.

This is not caused by connections, motor or wiring.

I already upgraded the software to Marlin.

The hot end may be blocked, it is recommended that you clean it

I'm sorry but the hot end is not covered.
To be sure I removed the motor from the extruder and the motor failure continues.
What other problem can there be with my printer?

I just saw you video, and its exactly what my extruder does, that TOK TOK TOK sound, and its completely random, my nozzle its 0.3mm if i use in Cura a Layer of 0.1 or 0.2 it gets jammed on the firsts minutes, if i use a layer of 0.3 or 0.4 it lasts a bit more until it gets jammed, could be 15 minutes, and hour or so, but at the end it will be jammed.

i think its related to the configuration i use in Cure (4.6.1), can anyone who haves this printer share their Cura profile?, (for PLA), many thanks in advance.

Maybe the drive voltage is too low, you can test it, or try to swap the drive with other axes The picture shows the driver A4988, you need to check your driver

Can you see how the extruder gear is false moving when you do it in 0.1mm steps?
