Swapping extruder 2 and heat bed thermistors.

Post by Rbrks329 » Fri May 08, 2020 10:26 pm

Hi,

I found that my heated bed has stopped working, due to the heat bed thermistor's connection to the board failing. However, the secondary extruder connection is fine.

Is it possible to configure the firmware such that the connection for the heat bed thermistor can be assigned to where the secondary extruder thermistor normally would be connected?

Thanks!

Hi,If the hotbed thermistor is not working, you can replace it or replace the hotbed.

No, the thermistor itself is fine, it's the connection of the thermistor to the motherboard that's the issue.
Since the connection designed is no longer working, I want to use the connection for the secondary extruder to read temperature values for the heat bed.
