Printer killed laptop via USB

Hello,
I have a big problem. My I3 Pro B killed my 3000€ laptop.
The printer was connected via USB. There was a bang, sounded like a short circuit. The printer LCD and the laptop turned off. The laptop mainboard ist fried. The printer also no longer works.
There was nothing that could have moved anything. The printer was also in standby.

I need this laptop to work. In three months I have no more money for food, can't afford a replacement.
How can anything like that happen?
I don't know what to do now. Maybe others could also be affected. I don't know if I should hire a lawyer. I am legally insured.

Best regards,
Taktiks

Hi,
Is your power supply box voltage adjusted to your desired voltage range, can you tell me where you are and where you bought it?

Hi,
I used it for some month without Problems. Even printed something half an hour before this happened. There is nothing setup wrong.
I'm from Germany, think I brought it on Amazon. Have to check.

To give an update:
I have not received any manufacturer support. The products do not have a serial number, which makes sales illegal in my country.
You should not buy a product from this brand.. found similar cases with killed PCs on the internet.

I never experienced such a bad manufacturer in my life. I now have to hire a lawyer.
