LCD Panel display random characters

I have just built my i3 Pro B and when I switched on, the green display panel just shows a garbled mess which changes every few seconds. I've tried reversing the cables with no luck and the reset button has no effect. As far as I can tell I've done everything by the book and I'm desperate to start using the printer. Can anyone please help?

I just built my brand new DIY I3 Pro B and have the exact same fault.

Hi, You can check if your lcd cable is reversed,
Then reconnect.
Garbled screen may be caused by signal interference.
