gaps in extrusion

Hi

I'm pretty new to 3d printing and wonder if the answer to one of you guys is obvious.

I'm running a Geetech I3 PRO B with 1.75 PLA. When printing a smallish key ring item with text, the print leaves gaps around the text - not sure why. Any ideas on how to avoid this? See pic

You need attach the gcode file of it(The forum support *.zip file)
Then we can check and test it.

I think thus is the appropriate .gcode file and init file in a .zip file as suggested

I've checked your files.
1.The retract distance:4~5mm will be better
2.The gap_infill speed is 20mm/s in your profile.
You can increase it a little.

Hi William

I have made the changes you suggest but unfortunately the output is the same .. in fact there is now a little stringy substance between the letters.

Hi.

What is your fill factor set :?:
Separate settings may be available for the lower and upper layers.
