Z axis goes too high

Post by ManEatingSnail » Tue Nov 06, 2018 2:51 pm

Hi there,

I'm having some trouble with my new printer I've built. I have gone through the settings loads of times but can't see where I am going wrong. I have calibrated everything and it all looks fine to start with.

The printer will firstly print the first couple layers perfectly. I have had to adjust the z-offset to achieve this (-0.4) however after the first few layers the z axis will raise too high and then it just becomes a spaghetti murder scene. Can anyone give me any advise on how to overcome this?

Thanks

I resolved this issue by changing the zsteps/mm to 400 solved that one
