I want to implement auto bed leveling using one of these

my first question is,

to upgrade to Marlin 1.1.9, can i just download it from the marlin website, substitute the example configuration.h from the Geeetech folder and upload it?

I could not find a definitive post on here with Geeetechs own 1.1.9 download.

Marlin 1.1.9: yes, as you wrote.

The sensor you linked might not work, if it's a 4 mm sensing one.
