Communication Timeout

Hello,
I have suddenly been experiencing communication errors with my printer. It just stopped mid-print one day and hasn't worked properly ever since. I have researched the problem and searched through the forums with no luck. I have taken screen shots of what happens when during the failed connection. it will connect and heat the heatbed, sometimes the extruder as well; however will normally start displaying gibberish text in the log and then won't proceed any further. I have even tried a new USB cable and also printing from an SD; it just cuts out eventually like before.
Here are some screenshots of the log:
if anyone has any clues, please help.
Thanks.

Hi
From the description you presented, I can see one relation - communication is disturbed when the heaters are started.
If this is not a problem for you, please make sure to confirm this conclusion.
If this is the case, I may suspect that the power supply is not working properly.

Thank you for replying so quickly!
Could this also explain why is cuts out after a while even when being able to print? The same thing occured when using an SD card, so it didn't seem like a communication issue at all. Could the power supply also cause the 'gibberish' text?
Thank you for your suggestion
would it be a case of replacing the PSU?

Hi
Your case is very difficult to diagnose remotely.
Success depends to a large extent on the facts you present in your description.

Hi,
I have ran some more tests and found that the 'gibberish' text and communication issues always occur after the heatbed has finished heating. I tried connecting and doing basic functions without the power being on and I had no weird text or error messages. Assuming it is the power supply, what would be my next move? Also, could it just be the heatbed that would need replacing?
Thank you.

In the first step I would check the quality of the electrical connections.
I would disconnect the mains power cords and carefully reconnect them.
It is recommended to perform the inspection at both ends of the cables.
Do you have a mutimeter to take electrical measurements?
You will need to observe the voltage readings.

Hello
If you don't need a multimeter, you can borrow one from a friend.
Tell me what model of controller board you have

It would also be useful to have a few pictures showing the controller and cable connections.

Hi,
I was going to buy a multimeter anyway so no worries. The board is a GT2560; I will take pictures of the controller and connections soon and upload them
