This is my 1st 3D Printer, and while doing research, come along advise to use an external mosfet to power the heatbed. Finally got mine from Aliexpress https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Hot-sel ... 0.0.hm9FWr
Just wanted to know what is recommended wiring?
aliexpress site says:

Usage :
1. Connect Power to power source, please note the anode and cathode.
2. Connect Hotbed to heated wire , please note the anode and cathode.
3. Connect digital control signal to Gnd,D8.
4. Connect the control signal of Ramps1.4 or MKS MOSFET to -Bed+
5. Choose one signal group to connect.

So I did this:

Is there a digital signal i can take instead?

I understand a digital signal to be a low voltage signal. This voltage is equal to the main power supply voltage µC.

This is important.

The drawing you have shown leads to a signal other than a digital one.
If you have a schematic diagram of the circuit you bought, we could check whether such a connection will destroy it.

...

A photograph of your module shows a optocoupler. I guess He is controlled by this digital signal.
Enter its type.

...

That will not do anything.
Without a scheme I will not come up with anything sensible.

You can always do an experiment, at most something will break down.
But no one will lose their lives. ;-D

Very interesting,
I heard about this, because the i3 Pro C board needs really very long to heat up to 90 degree Celsius.

hmm. I'm curious about this too as I'd like to take the load off the board.

Maybe the heat bed can work better than ever?

with this set up which pair of dc wires supplies heatbed on the input from the psu on to the 4 pin plug I am setting it up now I suppose I could just disconnect one power line and see which one doesn't heat up
