[SOLVED] X and Y end stop not working

Hello everyone,

I have an other problem with my friend's i3 Pro B. I did a second topic to keep things organised :)

The X-axis and Y-axis end stops do absolutely nothing, the printer goes all the way and makes a grinding noise trying to keep going.
The ends stops seems well plugged (actually, like the Z-axis who works just fine).

Again, I don't know that printer so maybe I skip something obvious, and the building was made by her father (who could'nt read the manual in english) and her sister (who translated for her father). So i'm not completely sure they did the thing right.

Do you see something I could try to solve thoses problems? Thank you! :D

Hi,

First, make sure that the wires to the end stop microswitches are connected to the outside connectors. (They probably are as they come pre-wired.)

Check out that the end stop switches are connected to the X-min, Y-min and Z-min sockets on the GT2560 control board. I reckon the X and Y switches may be connected to the wrong sockets which would cause your problem.

Play Bonny!

Okay, I found the problem!

The X-axis endstop trigger was plugged in the Y-axis endstop trigger place :P
