Hi,
I've buyed my first 3D printer and it's a Geetech !
The build was easy and everythings is well explained with the instruction manual and the videos.
But, i got an issue with the electronic parts.
I've wired everything correctly (checked twice, wired once) but after turning on, the power supply make a weird noise and the small LED on it stopped shine.
So for troubleshooting i've check the topic on your forum.
- fuse OK
- launching the power supply disconnected from the load(GT2560) : 12 v
- Connected on the GT2560 : 0v
After that i've tryed to use my lab power supply and, same problem, the GT2650 does not start ( no LCD, no Light ).
- The power supply give 20A at 12v
- Power supply disconnected from the load (GT2560) :12 v
- Connected to the GT2560 : 12V
For testing my GT2560 board :
- Remove all the wires
- Remove stepper drivers
- Connect on the PC : Not detected by Arduino IDE
- Checked in dmesg (im on linux) NOTHING
My guess :
Power supply does not support the load - > Dead ?
Even with external power supply, the mainboard is not working -> Dead too ?
My question : What can i test ?
I've ordered this printer from GEEEtech shop on ebay, can i get replacement parts ?
