qualcuno potrebbe aiutarmi

@JohnDeere630

Thank You, for your reply,.. however, I never actually asked for actual help, I asked if anyone knew of any engaging Forums and if so, I'd appreciate a couple of links or information.

I'm afraid you've misunderstood my post, I'm not asking for anyone to,... hold my hand or to do the work for me. I'm also intelligent enough to understand that buying a budget printer in kit form, is totally different to buying something one can just pull out of a box and switch on,... after all, this isn't my first Rodeo within my fifty-year lifespan.

I actually found your comment somewhat condescending rather than rude, to be honest, I thought you came across a little Prejudice and opinionated in a negative connotation. you also seemed to enjoy making assumptions about me, which is fine by me, however, you were actually being Derogatory in nature, this type of attitude will also not make you many friends,... Just Saying!

with my kindest regards

@Alienmoon,
Fair enough. Maybe I misunderstood you, but when you say, and I quote: "I'm a little disheartened if I'm honest, I see people asking for help and many of the posts have either been ignored or not answered in a way that'll help people get the tasks done, Swiftly and Correctly."........that sounds an awful lot like complaining to these 50 year-old ears. I am truly sorry the people here can not always solve everyone's problems "Swiftly and Correctly", but we try.

I admit I also had some difficulty with my BL-Touch as well, and I am certainly not as smart as some here, but given the literal reams of information on the 'net, it took me about 2 hours to get it sorted, albeit with some notable curses and crashes. To each his own, I guess.

@JohnDeere630

What I meant by that comment was, While searching the terminology used for various aspects of 3D printers, I came across endless threads with someone posting a question and when I saw the dates of some of these questions, It was clear that no one had bothered to reply, there's quite a lot, for a small forum.

Anyway, Moving forward, I'm not so bothered about editing the firmware for the BLTouch, it seems straightforward enough, just hope reality plays out that way!

My delay in actually getting my printer to do its first print is more down to getting the math correct for the new T8 lead screws,... which brings me to a reply that you give me on another post here https://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopi ... 194#p84194... I'd like to say, Thank you, for that information, it has helped me understand a little more about how to use the Prusa Calculator, here: https://www.prusaprinters.org/calculator/

Thanks, Again.

P.S
Each to their own, Indeed,... though, I'm happy we've been able to put that situation behind us,... Thanks again, John.
