During the printing don't extrude.

Post by marco.marangia@libero.it » Thu Oct 04, 2018 10:49 am

Hi everyone, i have a problem.
During the printing the printer don't extrude material.
But if i try to extrude out from the print it extrude.
What do you think it may do?

Thank you

i have a GEEETech i3 pro B
(i have even the problem with the screen- 2 raw black block, but i think that this kind of printer are so cheap and there is no solution!)

I'we still changed the extrusor onli the "hole".
May be a software problem or a firmware problem?

If your LCD screen is "broken" I think you should take a photo and complain where you bought it from. You will possibly get a replacement part (I hope so).

For printing, be careful, if you haven't leveled your bed correctly and the head is too close to the printing bed, it cannot extrude (and the extruder motor will just do a clicking noise).

What is the temperature? What is the material?
Have you set the nozzle size correctly in Repetier/Slicer? (It is 0.3mm if the factory nozzle).

I have an acrylic i3 b pro printed once and realised that the arm that provides pressure against the extruder motor to feed the filament is broken. Could you please link me to a replacement metal one I can't believe these kits are bieng shipped out with such a sub standard part still, from what I have read this is a common issue
Thank you
