Assembled - now what

Hi - I am done building the printer, when I power up the display comes on, the fans fan, there is a menu on the display which can be manipulated with the button. All seems good. But I lack some pointers to what I need to do now. From my readings on the net it seems like I need to get a SD card for the card reader - but not sure. I need to plug it to the computer, but what software, I need to calibrate it - but what is that. I need to make sure I placed the wires so all parts can move - but how do I make things move. In short - what is next steps after assembly - and where do I read about it?
