Lost LCD after firmware upgrade
Lost LCD after firmware upgrade
Is there somewhere in the firmware that sets pin numbers for the LCD? I have tried multiple versions of firmware but have not been able to get the LCD back.
Re: Lost LCD after firmware upgrade
1.I think you should refer some of the basic parameters of Marlin firmware, and then modify the corresponding pin
2.You can remove all wiring and then plug 12V PSU and upload the correct firmware again

-Keep your mind and try to test it.

Re: Lost LCD after firmware upgrade
How did this happen? I got into this state when I tried to change my firmware after upgrading to Z_Axis leadscrews, I had to modify the step size then upload the firmware.
I uploaded using the Arduino IDE but, as I had Repetier connected to the printer at the time via the USB port the port was unavailable for the upload. I tried again after shutting Repetier but somewhere along the way the upload failed and I ended up with just blocks on the LCD. At this point I reckoned the printers firmware was either corrupt or missing.
The solution was to power cycle the printer and re-send the firmware from the Arduino IDE which worked for me.
Hope you get lucky!
