Nozzle drags through model

Post by gamezero » Fri Mar 09, 2018 7:29 pm

Hi there I'm new to the forum - just built the i3 Pro W; had all the usual teething problems and got through to my first print of a Benchy which went fine. However I haven't been able to get another successful print out because the nozzle starts to drag into the model after a few layers of printing - this then triggers a Mintemp warning while the head remains hot. I have very carefully leveled the bed before the failed prints and I have moved the z axis by 0.1 increments through the trouble area with no problems. It looks to me like the nozzle needs more clearance but I don't know if that's right and I can't find out how to adjust the clearance.
Any help greatly appreciated.
