Heat bed and nozzle not heating up

I just completed putting together my i3 Pro B and uploading new firmware to it. I just tried going through and checking things like temperature and the bed nor the nozzle got warm at all. The temp gauges never changed. Also, I tried to turn it off and the power switch is not working now either. I'm thinking it was the firmware I uploaded maybe. I followed the guide that I found here in the forum but maybe I did something wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am very new to this and learning as I go.

I would start by getting my voltmeter out and check the outputs on the board.
Anythinng there?

What does the LCD say about the temperatures?
Did the power switch work before?

It apparently just needed to sleep over night lol. So far everything is heating and I have power again. No idea why but i'll take it. Thank you for replying to my question.
