A30 blank screen

A30 with blank screen. Just received the display and it was working but the text did not align with the displays correctly. I thought it was caused by a mismatch in mainboard firmware and display firmware. I updated firmware on both mainboard and display and not it is blank. I have tried various versions of firmware and also tried updating from the SD slot on the LCD. Display is still blank.

Mainboard is GTM PRO VD
display is 700-001-1030, Display is like the top one in this post: viewtopic.php?f=65&t=70732

Any help is appreciated. Please let me know what versions of firmware I should be running and how to get the LCD recovered. Thanks

I had the same issue when my A30 arrived (bought used one with this particular "issue" - blank screen). I just installed the latest version available for download from Geeetech website (A30_V1.38.59) and in addition uploaded to the screen's SD card the system folder, A30_S01_V1_38.bin file and the display came back to life.... sort off... the touch is dead... but it displays boot screen and then goes to main menu...

Hi，the official website's firmware is available, you can update it according to the instructions

I tried that and got a successful upload to the mainboard, heard the mainboard restart, then I uploaded the LCD bin file successfully. I then turn off the machine and turned it back on and the display is still black.

Hi,can you provide the pictures displayed on the LCD?

There is nothing on the display. It is completely blank. Even after the successful firmware update. The red LED is 'ON" on the back side of the display but the front of the display is blank and looks black.

I have loaded the firmware numerous times and also tried placing the config.txt file along with the bin file on the SD card on the LCD and still have a black screen. I have ordered an ST-link adapter and if you can provide the correct .hex file for the display I will try to recover the display using the ST-link.

1. When using the ST-link does the boot0 jumper need to be installed?
2.Please provide hex file.
3.Please let me know what version of GTMPRO VD firmware is matched to the hex file you provide for the display.

Again: my display is the one on the top of the picture you provided.
