Hi,
just upgraded from Geeetech I3 ProB to a A30 and a good move. I want to instal a 3D Touch which I thought would be plug and play, but do research it does not seem that straight forward.

To install I need to

1. Remove 3 pin socket and install 5 pins see pic's

2. Flash firmware with A30_3Dtouch_V3.zip

3. update the UI for LCD after upload the firmware

Questions

a, Is this all that is necessary to install the 3D Touch?

b, What way do the wires go on the 5 pins ( Colour left to right )?

c, What type of board is this - ref image

Hi,

Thank you for the reply William.
