Installing 3D Touch on A30
Posted: Mon Jan 27, 2020 11:48 am
Hi,
just upgraded from Geeetech I3 ProB to a A30 and a good move. I want to instal a 3D Touch which I thought would be plug and play, but do research it does not seem that straight forward.
To install I need to
1. Remove 3 pin socket and install 5 pins see pic's 2. Flash firmware with A30_3Dtouch_V3.zip
3. update the UI for LCD after upload the firmware
A30 Refer to this post:

Questions
a, Is this all that is necessary to install the 3D Touch?
b, What way do the wires go on the 5 pins ( Colour left to right )?
c, What type of board is this - ref image Looking forward to your help.
