So I decided to change my stock 0.4mm nozzle tip to a 0.6mm. The whole reason I wanted to change was to print faster and larger, may even go up to 0.8mm for prints I plan to fill, primer, sand and paint. I'm new to Cura and 3D printing, so I apologize if I ask noob questions. I adjusted Cura PLA settings for 0.6mm nozzle tip, but calibration cube printed really poorly. (0.3mm layer height, 212/60 temp, 60 print speed, 10% infill. I know I need to do some adjustment, but I set these to what others have had success with and wanted to start from there. I wasn't expecting it to look this rough. Any ideas on what would cause these lines and the separations? I printed first cube at 40mm and second at 20mm. I stopped the 40 mm when it got to letters on the sides and the separations started up to not waste filament and see if 20mm would print any better.
anyone have tips, tricks or Cura settings for printing with 0.6mm or 0.8mm nozzle tips???

Hi, You can check
1. The tightness of the belt;
2. Whether the bearing or the pulley is issued (the card can be lubricated to lubricate 0;
3. Whether the printing speed is too fast, the printing speed can be appropriately reduced;
4. Check the drive board voltage (can be adjusted in the range of 0.8-1.2v).

Good advice. You should also check the e steps. It looks like there is not enough material extruded.
