Hi,
i need a mechanical end stop switch module for the “Geeetech A30 touch screen open source power resuming printer” I bought in Oct. 10th. 2018. I need the module for the Z axis. The plug has 3 pins, which are assigned with 3 wires (red, black and blue). I have already bought some, but at all lights the LED when connecting. The printer beeps, but nothing happens, i. the axes can not be moved!

On the homepage I only find a switch with a 4 pin buckle….

https://www.geeetech.com/mechanical-end ... p-704.html

Can I use this module for the A30? If not, where can I get a suitable one? If so, how should I connect it? Is it possible to get an old one that’s suitable to my printer?

or an optical switch…

https://www.geeetech.com/opto-optical-e ... p-682.html

Which switch may I have to use and I am not sure how to wire it. Please help!!

I contacted the sales support. The answer is not clear. I am directed to the mechanical endstop with the 4 pin connection. That does not help me! It must be possible to tell me how this endstop on the A30 is connected to the existing connector, without the Powersupply housing must be opened! Why is the original built-in module no longer available?

The sales support contacted me. Sending the replacement endstop-switch would cost 20USD! That is too expensive for me! I found a mechanical solution. I carefully removed the plastic top, which contains the switch and the metal tongue, from one of the endstop switch's failed purchases, and then placed that part on the original endstop. The endstop works again!

What a terrible english
:D

I need one. Can you send me the link to buy it? I know it's $20 but I need it. Did you have to call?

I tried soldering another mechanical switch onto the board and fried it. I suck at soldering. Ha. More info here - https://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopi ... 88#p101888

Thank you.
