Error: Nozzle 0-TEMP after update

Post by ChrisH90 » Sat Apr 06, 2019 12:47 am

Hello all,

I updated my 2 days old A30 to the following Firmware:
A30_M07_V1_59.bin
A30_S01_V1_38.bin
Since then I have the problem that the Nozzle-Temp displays the right value but the nozzle won‘t heat up. Instead of heating there is a message:
Error: Nozzle 0-TEMP
The heating element is out of order
Has anyone the same issue or eventually a solution?

Hi.

As far as I remember, the solution to this problem was to upload an improved firmware version.

Because I do not observe this topic I am not able to give you more detailed information.

Hi.

You downloaded these files from there:

Right :?:

And after uploading the software, did you use the option to restore the default settings?
;)

Hey, yes, I tried two things. First I tried to use the firmware from the zip file of the toolkit. After that I tried to use the firmware showed on your screenshot but same problem with both versions.
I read about reseting the printer to default settings by pressing factory defaults on the panel but all this didn‘t solve my problem. :(
Any further idea?

I think you can refer to these steps:
1. Upload the fw for A30. The version is V1.35.56
If the LCD shows normal then it means the issue is the fw

2. Open the hotend and check the thermistor loose or broken
If you have the multimeter then you can check it is 80~120kΩ。
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
-Everything will be fun!-Support all Getech printer.
-You can ask me the questions and I will kindly reply.
-Respect others is the best way you can get help!

Okay, with the Firmware Tool I uploaded Version 1.35.56 but with this firmware the display keeps black. Anyway I also tried to download the Firmware via EasyPrint3d but there the timeout window appears while updating LCD. LCD keeps black.
The other thing is, that I owned this printer for 5 days now and I don`t want to remove any enclosure because of warranty.
I wrote many mails to support but nothing happens like I write my mails to a black hole. Only the sales team reacts but only with "simple" answers or "copy/paste" answers from this forum. I am not able to print only one thing...
I start to hate this chinese printer more and more. There are no solutions, great answer delay times,... but as I saw in ebay I`m not the only one with this problem.
Anyway, it seems like you are the only one who takes care of my problem. I appreciate that!

;)

The biggest problem is that you need to gain experience and be patient.
Upgrading your firmware is a complex process. It requires getting acquainted with how to do it in practice. I don't know if there is a good manual for this. :?

The process is even more complex because it requires a two-step upgrade.

What kind of knowledge do you have on this subject?
You have to read a lot on this forum. Then you will manage. Unfortunately I don't know this printer. I only know as much as I will read on this forum.
Also try to check everything William said.
