Total newb here, but I am ready to print using my new A30. I started a print at work and want to know if and how I can stop the 8+ hour print and restart when I come back in Monday. Please and Thank You.

You can pause the print, but the machine will still be running. You could (in theory) pull the plug or turn the machine off at the power switch in the back, IF you are printing from the micro SD card and not a computer via USB, and it should restart printing from wherever it was when you turn it back on.
However, I don't think this is a good idea for a couple reasons. First is, there will be some kind of noticeable mark or blob or defect where the print restarts. The second issue is that anytime a print has restarted for me, the hotend hasn't primed itself right and it took a bit for filament to start re-flowing again. Maybe others have had better success with this feature.

I suggest you use the octoprint for it.|
Then you can control it pause via the network.
