Hello,
I`ve bought an A30 a few days ago, built it up today, and have an issue with my gcode files.
I `ve copied some gcode files on the original SD card, but they are not displayed in the printer, i tried Simplify3D and Cura to slice, same issue.
Tried another sd card, but the files are stil not displayed.
Any ideas what i may do wrong?
Tanks

I have the same Problem after Update.
Rename the .gcode Files to .gco
Not sure how that comes...... Did not find a solution for it. Im hoping for a new Update

You can copy it to the sd card.
Then you need to check the wires of the sd card reader.

could you explain that? do you think that a wire of the printers cardreader is loose? Thats why it only finds. gco instead of .gcode?

You can open the A30 PSU box then you can check the SD card reader cables.
You can shake it with your hands and you will know what happened with it.

Hello William,
as I understand, the SD-Card reader only recognizes *.gco files but no *.gcode files any more.
This is a problem of the latest firmware, that only *.gco is recognised but not *.gcode.
Therefore, shaking or replacing of the cable will not fix the problem
A new fir.ware is required!

Hi,Br365
Could you attach your gcode file?
I have an A30 for a test.Maybe I can found why it happened.

Hello William,
I don't have an A30 (where I'm very sad about). But as I understand, You can try it by yourself:
Test 1: Create a Gcode file with file extension .gcode
Test 2: Create the same Gcode file (or rename the other one) with file extension .gco.
Normally, both file types (.gcode and .gco) should be visible. I haven't yet tested on my i3 Pro C. I always use .gco as file extension.

It is like Moritz said.
The cables are normal fixed. All works fine... it just dont recognize .gcode files. You have to rename them to .gco.
I can send you the file, but it wont change anything.
And my files arent that good... im still trying to get a good print profile with cura (4 or 3.6- trying both) without stringing and without over or underextrusion.... im trying since weeks^^... have not one good print with the a30 till now
I just tried to upload the .gco and .gcode file in a forum message. Both extensions are not allowed. Il upload it on a hoster:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/19NXN1h ... sp=sharing
If i dont rename it to .gco the A30 wont show it in display.
Oh... and if you have any suggestions for a good Cura profile i would love to try it
edit: william, I just found your Cura Profile "A30-Cura-profile" from 2018. are u still using this?

Hi.
To upload files to the forum, compress them to ZIP format.
