Post by Miceltu » Sun Oct 21, 2018 10:49 pm

Hi,

I am fighting since days with the leveling issue and it seeams that I am not allone.
If I manage to print, the Quality is very lousy.

See this pictue. Every object was printed with another slicer Software and completely different settings.

From the left to the right:
Cura 3.5.0 , Simplyfy 3d , Geeetechs Easyprint3D.

Am I not new with 3d Printers, but I feel me like a new one.
What is your opinion? What could here wrong?

Thanks in advanced,
Mic

Hello.

In my opinion it looks like a dosing problem. It's as if too little filament was given.
In any case, you must start to customize the Slicer options.

The printout in the middle looks the most beautiful. But the retraction parameters have to be additionally adjusted there.

Yes, it seeams so and I am wondering why? I have already raised up to 105%.
I printed the same spool of filament on another printer very well.
And why did the amount of the filament are to less also by using of geeetechs EasyPrint and set up to A30 Printer?
I think, they should now, what they are doing.

In the Moment I think I have issues with the Extrude Motor or something with the extruder. Odd - it s a brand new printer and instead of printing some nice objects I adjust, make tests and so on. :(

Maybe the nozzle temperatur is not correct?
Suddenly the Nozzle is clogged - during the print process. I changed two times the nozzle to a brand new.
The Extruder Motor clacks and i can see, how the pinion from the e-motor jumps back, because of to much friction.
If I press the Finger, the Motor runs, it is no preasure on the filament.
I remove the teflon and so on and see a big bulb. It is congested. But why.

Apparently I found the Problem: Cura has to set to another Printertyp. :o

I looked to the less videos on youtube about cura and a30. As there shown I used the Custom FFF Printer. And this is in my case wrong, using >=3.5.0.
After using a "MakerBotReplicator" and GCode Flavor "Marlin" it is perfekt. Strange.
Also using the Marlin (Volumetric) Has an overflow of the amount of the Filament.

Maybe it helps somebody. I wonder, if I the only one with this issue?

I had a very similar experience. Except instead of MakerBotReplicator I used the Printer Type Creality CR-10. The A30 & the CR-10 are very similar. Why did you choose the MarkerBotReplicator?

Take RepRap.
Also Check that the extruder is well calibrated.
Half of the prints looks like a clogged nozzle so try some cold pulls additionally.
Also overwork your retractionsettings.
if the rest wont help check the pfte tube holders are tight, when they have some space to move you can also get cloggz

Was pure desperation. I've just successfully tested my Raisecube Profile, which was based on MakerBotReplicator. I have absolutely no idea, what would be the best. Since last Friday I spend tons of hours to get a useable printout.

Sorry - now are some questions for better understanding. A30 is my first Extruder System with a Teflon Tube, or what ever called

I spend at minimum 30 hours all the last days to calibrate the z-hight. Did you mean this? Or did the calibrate of an extruder mean different.

This is the strange situation. After changing the Printertyp it was very good. But the nozzle is going to clogg sometimes again. Regardless of the filaments.
Have everything disassembled and cleaned well. I replaced the teflon tube and replaced the plastic transport on the extruder motor with a better metal one.

You mean, if the tube has space in and out? Or if it is rotateable?

so far i use only reprap / repetier for the a30 and get good results.

extruder have nothink to do with the z axe, you need to check if he should extrude 100mm he also do this, you will find a lot of guides in the internet.
use the smartto motortool 1.2 to change the steps/mm

i ment that the pfte tube can move in the holders next to the extruder/hotend, but it needs to fit very close to the nozzle, otherwise you get nonstop cloggs

Again many thanx for your answers.

I wonder, where I can order a new throat. I find nothing nowhere. No spare part will fit.
My throat has 6mm(Heater-side) AND 8mm (j-head-side) by 28mm.

What kind of j-head is this?
