How is Geeetech I3 as a beginner printer?

I bought the Geeetech I3 Pro B a couple of weeks ago as my first printer. It should be basically the same machine, but with metal parts instead of the 3D printed parts.
I quite enjoyed putting the kit together and getting it to work, but it didn't really put up a fight, except for some unaligned rods, incomplete or missing instructions etc..
I printed about 300g so far and I'm really happy with the standard results. That said, I will be adding and changing some stuff in the next couple of weeks, already ordered the parts, we'll see when I find the time.
So, as a beginner, I would recommend it. There is still the possibility of me being totally lucky with it, but if you decide to buy a cheap chinese printer kit, you kind of know, what you are getting into.
