Hi,
2 questions in 1 post
Here is a set of pictures of my latest print. There is a lot of stringing going on that I strongly believe is related to retraction:
Q1: How do I configure retraction
Q2: In image IMG_20161031_064847.jpg and IMG_20161031_064910.jpg areas marked in red - there is some excess extrusion that I don't believe required support since it was not over hanged. Does anyone knows what is it related to or how to troubleshoot that?
Thanks in advanced

Re: Stringing and excess filament extrusion
Ok. I dropped the temperature by 30 deg. and the excess extrusion completely stopped.
Regarding the retraction - doesn't look better at all:
I set:
Length = 4
Minimum travel after retraction = 4
Retract on layer change = v
Wipe while retracting = v
Those the setting I've made.
Any other ideas?

Re: Stringing and excess filament extrusion
What travel speed are you using?
You'd better increase the travel speed as long as the motor doesn't lose steps:

Re: Stringing and excess filament extrusion
Thanks, problem completely solved by dropping temperature to 180.
