Documentation fix:M201 assemble the x-axis

Post by elocm » Thu Feb 25, 2016 2:05 am

I just found today an additional required fix in the documentation to get away some shaky lines in the model at the height of 21mm. I was wondering that there was some crazy stuff in my gcode but this was not the issue.

There is a really small collision between the screw that holds the wheel for the x axis and the screw that is used in the middle to connect the large O/Frame with the right support structure.

You get rid of the problem when you remove the washer at least on one of these screws. This gives you the reuired 0.5mm clearance. It may also work if the belt is a bit longer and the wheel is more tightened to the right. At least a point zuo should check to get nice surfaces.

:D

As you can see on the photo the two screws are really near. Depending on the configuration they collide.

Fix as described above
