Easy Print review by Adam Becher

I just downloaded Easy Print from Geeetech and so far, the user interface is very simple yet it still allows you to control many aspects of your print.

Easy Print is a free software that will take .STL files and convert them to gcode for a 3D printer to print. I currently use Repetier Host and Slic3r for my Geeetech printers but with this new software I will be switching over.

The download is super quick, super easy and nothing but Easy Print gets installed on your computer. Once it is installed and you open it the interface is simple to use and read. I am an advanced user but even a beginner would have a very easy time using this software.

Compared to the Repetier Host I was using this software is much more straight forward. Another bonus is how you can edit settings like print speed and support material without having to switch to another program.

Before I had to use Repetier Host to communicate with the printer and Slic3r to pick all of my printer settings. In Easy Print I can do everything in one spot.

However, you do sacrifice a few print settings because it is condensed software, but all the main settings you would like to tweak are available in Easy Print.
One of my favorite features is that because Easy Print is a Geeetech product if you are using a Geeetech printer all you have to do is select your printer from a drop-down menu and the recommended settings are all pre-loaded for you!

This makes switching printers a breeze. Don’t worry though you can use the software with any 3D printer, all you have to do is add it in, like in Repetier Host.

If anything sounds complicated or is confusing there is a very detailed menu explaining all the buttons and different print settings. I read through the whole thing and learned a lot, they also have a great customer support team ready to personally work with you on all of your questions.
