I don't understand what you mean about the extruder carriage. I never said anywhere that the documentation is wrong about which is the front/back.

All I said is that you show another printer with the XAxis rod clamps fixed on the inside and that this is the correct place for them. Also if you try to fix the LEFT clamps on the outside THEY DO NOT FIT because of the metal X Carriage fixture.

The manual shows them fixed on the outside and I said they should be on the INSIDE and showed the modification I did to enable the XCarriage stop to work.

sorry my bad, I misunderstand you! Now I see what you mean, but the prusa I3 design is not the same to the aluminium one, so the lock ring is inside.
