Printed object is smaller

Post by Blisk » Thu Jan 14, 2016 5:42 pm

Can someone help me what to do?
I have maded some object in designspark.
And when it is printed in PLA it is smaller for about 1,3 mm.
Why is this happend and what to do to print object the same dimensions as they are in designspark program?

you need to calibricate the X Y Z steps/mm, increase this parameter to a proper value then you'll make it work.
or check this link for the steps:

It is not problem a height (Z ax) of object but diameter.
I maded a ring which has diameter 47 inside and 50 mm outside.
When printer prints that ring it has 45,8 mm inside and 48,8 outside.

they are the same thing, means your steps are not precise enough so the demensions will not be accurate too.
