Hello All.
I have just finished building my G2s pro kit. the build went well only issue was 3mm threads in two of the top belt tensioners were not there but i glued the bolt in and all seemed ok.
when i boot the printer up and try to move the Z axis the motor judders and moves in the wrong direction.
i looked at the page http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 13&t=17038
I have swapped the motor with X problem still on Z axis.
i then changed the cable. still on Z axis.
i then changed the driver board problem still on Z axis.
i removed and replaced the jumpers to see if i had a bad connection.
Still the problem is on the Z axis.
where should i look next?
Regards
Martin
G2s Z Axis help.
Re: G2s Z Axis help.
is the belt too tight or too loose? and the voltage of the driver, did you try to adjust it?
And you can refer to this link to change the motor direction:

Re: G2s Z Axis help.
Thanks for your response.
I eventually found the problem TWO leads from the controller to the motors had issues. it just so happens that I chose to change the ones with the problems thus not moving the problem. I have repaired one of them and bodged up the other until I can sort out a replacement .
I have now leveld the bed and set up the axis's. there was allot of slop on the print head spider so i have packed this with washers on the bearing side. where the slop is on the spider side I don't know what to do yet, it seems to me all of the bearing mounts both top and bottom are a bit too long for the metal castings and the bearings.
Hopefully I will do a test print today.
Thanks again
Martin.
