Upgrade Firmware with easy print
Re: Upgrade Firmware with easy print
Hi,
with the M201 it is not working!!!!
You go always back to the old version.
By the way, where I can find the V1.0.5 for the M201 Board?

Re: Upgrade Firmware with easy print
Is it necessary or recommended to start the Printers PSU for the firmware upgrade, too? Or is it enough to connect the USB, because the USB 5V power does already start the Arduino board. I guess, the PSU is only to power the Printer hardware like steppers and heating of bed and extruders.

Which type of printer you are writing.
The individual models have a different construction.

The model is a Geeetech I3 Pro C. The firmware update didn't work with EasyPrint 1.1.7 but it worked with the old beta version of EasyPrint.
With EasyPrint 1.1.7 the new available firmware (1.0.04) was displayed, when I connect the printer, but 1.1.7 seems not to be able to download the firmware file. Therefore, the update process didn't start.
With the old beta version, the firmware is loaded successfully and the progress bar becomes green.

Same here. With EasyPrint 1.1.7 nothing happens. Do I really need to downgrade EasyPrint??

Re: Upgrade Firmware with easy print
I just found out:
To update the firmware, I had to set the Baudrate to 256000. Otherwise the loading bar doesn´t move.
To connect to the printer, I had to set it to 250000.
Now it worked.
