I don't know if the subject is already discussed here. By the way I am sharing my actual experience in downgrading my A10 PRO controller from the GT2460 V4.1 to same controller but V4.0 because I want to use some kind of more silent drivers for the stepper motors. My A10 is very loud causing problem with neighbor living downstairs.
So, before going to the motors and heater wiring I wanted to be sure that I could use the original display 20 charaters and 4 rows. The model in my A10 PRO is the YHCB2004-06 ver.3.0
The problem is that the original display board has a 12 pins connector to the control board V4.1 and the V4.0 has a 20 pins output connector, usually for the graphic display I think or for some other dislay board.
Using the Marlin source code files I was able to name pins and wire up the display, the encoder and the buzzer to the 4.0 board.
If this is useful for someone like me wanting to do a downgrade or simply switch the lcd model, here is the wire up:
GT2560 v4.0 YHCB2004
LCD 20 PINS 12 PINS CONN
1 --------------------------1 VCC
2 --------------------------2 GND
3 --------------------------3 MISO
4 --------------------------4 CLK
5 --------------------------5 MOSI
6 --------------------------7 Encoder
7 --------------------------8 Encoder
16 ------------------------12 Buzzer
18 ------------------------9 Enc. Push Button
WIll try to document the remaining wiring during the migration.
Obviously you need to build a special adapter board if you like to use standard cables.
