Hi everyone!

I am very frustrated for the issues that i am finding mounting this damned sensor, so i need to ask you mighty help!!!

These are the facts:
I have installed it on my geeetech i3 pro b that mounts a GT2560 rev A+ so i used the preinstalled 3 pin on the side and made the
right configuration as explained in the guide.
1 - when sensor starts, it does up-down-up, then stops with the red light on.
2 - after that nothing works. if i try to send g-code command like M280 P0 S120 from repetier host nothing happens.
3 - if i send g-code like G28 it starts moveing but the endstop doesn't work. the z motor goes down and press on the bed untill i stop it. I tried to misure with a multimiter the 2 contact black and white of the endstop part of the sensor and i find that neither with the pin up nor with the pin down the circuit is closed.
In addition i tried to test with the command M119 and the TRIGGER is always open, it doesn't matter if the pin up or down. So i have to ask you which is the proper behaveor of the sensor so i can try to troubleshoot this.

Is the sensor fault? how can i do to make it responsive? why it doesn't react to the g-code tests?
Before you ask me, the pins of the sensor cable are correctly connected, orange on the signal pin, brown to the ground and red to the power.

please help me.

Hi man!
I suppose that our sensor is fault. The circuit does not open when the pin is in...
And in any case there are a problem with the gcode delivery.
Geeetech did not answer my questions, so i suppose that the sensor is simply fault...

Hi,after checking your situation, maybe the sensor is not in the normal state. So please try to set it in normal state according to this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ix7lXvf ... e=youtu.be.
If it still don't work ,you can send some videos about your issue as much details as possible in this post.Let me know your lastest situation.Good luck.

Hi William, thanks for your interest in my situation.

Unfortunately the sensor is not in allarm mode.
However i tried olready that procedure without any result.

The sensor is feed properly, the red led light properly and the sensor makes the first chek "pin out - pin in, pin out - pin in".
After that nothing works anymore. The commands sent to the sensor don't work.
I test even the end stop termination: white and black wires. The endstop status is always off, no matter if the pin is out or in.
But if i manually move the pin, the red light (of the hall sensor i suppose) light on or off properly.

I hope having explained the situation decently :)
If you need to have a video of this issue tell me and in a few days i'll try to post it..

Thx

Hi,According to the situation which the commands sent to the sensor don't work, the connection between the sensor and the board may be loosen, especially the signal wire(Orange). Please double check it,and it will be better if you sent some videos about it.Good Luck for you.

Hi, I had the same problem solved by inverting the 2-pin connector (white + black wire) the gnd (black wire) went inside the board.
