I am having an odd problem. When I print large items, bigger than 20mm in size, when the second layer prints, when the length of the pass is greater than 20mm, I get poor adhesion. the first part which has shorter passes adheres just fine, but longer passes do not adhere properly!

what's the filament and temperature you're using?
usually for PLA the hotbed: 60-70 , extruder: 195-210;
for ABS bed: 90-100, extruder : 220-240
And how's your slic3r settings?

I have figured it out. I have a .3mm nozzle and had my layer height set to .3mm. Changed layer height to .2mm and all is well. Read on reprap wiki that layer height should be <=80% of nozzle size. They are right!
I have been printing up a storm with these settings, and almost everything printed well, until I started bigger prints. Thats when the problem arose!
Thanks for your interest in helping me.
