power cables overheating

Hi , I have a prusa I3 x, it works great, but when I tried to print with ABS heating the bed to over 100°, the DC power connector at the control PCB got melt, now I can't unplug it, but that not my problem, is that the power cables that sent the current to the PCB gets very hot every time I try to use the heated bed, is this normal? thanks
