Help with settings

Hi everyone
I had a great experience building my i3 Pro, and have been trying to get the printing working properly. It operates correctly, but my prints are coming out strange. I have used the settings as per zhangxueyou's slicer settings post, but am still experiencing poor quality. I will continue trying different settings, but hoping someone can have a look at this image and give me a hint on what I might be doing incorrectly. It almost looks like the top layers are sinking in to the lower ones. I have attached a picture of one of my sample prints using ABS. I have tried PLA with very similar results.
