heey guys

I am new to this so please forgive me for not knowging anything(and my english).

I have bought the pruse i3 acrylic unassebeld, with the ramps 1.4 board and lcd screen.
After buying parts that didn't come with the kit (or the wrong one  ).I finished the building part of the printer but then the software part came in. And if the hardware isn't compleet why should be the software?

My problem is that i got a m999 error i have read that this is an often problem. and that my thermistor is broken in some way.
The thing is i didn't break anything, and i installed al the wires good.

The problem i see here is that you have sended me a broken product. and i am scared that i again have to buy a part for my ''full'' prusa i3 kit.

i also tryed to use the firmware you send from custermor service but they said they didn't understand the problem very wel so i had to go to the forum.
so maybe they send me the wrong one?

My second problem isn't a big one because i will be glad if the printer works.
After i got the new firmware for costomer service my lcd screen stopped showing info. it is now just glowing and not showing anything this probely is a confoguration thing in the firmware, But please can someone explain to get this working.

Kind regards,
Carlito Fens

Have you even read my post or do you send everyone the link?
Because many people with the same problem you just send the link no support.
Also it is super dumb you have to wait for the forum people to publish the post, isn't then not the same as a email?because you have to aprove and of course read it(only i think you don't do the last part. except everyone can read it.

I tryed it. it doesn't work because there is no .INO file duhhh

Ps. I am waiting to review this product because i want it to work before. please help me out or there will be horrible reviews about the product

I am sorry, please forgive me for my lacking experience. And the file i post is wrong.
1. Is the "m999" temp display in you PC?
2. The LCD is just glowing, maybe the contrast is not high enough. Can you see there is a small screw on the top-right corner of the LCD's back side? Rotate it , and you will see some difference.
