All motors are working fine now there was a problem with the plug.
The heat bed still can not be hooked up as it results in instant smell of impending fire. The wires are not touching anywhere.

Did you plug the stepper driver in the opposite direction?

Not sure what that has to do with the heat bed but no, I did not install anything backwards. The stepper drivers came pre installed from you guys. The power plug for the extruder motor wasnt seated properly. Right now all I can do is print on blue tape with no heat bed.

The heatbed is the MK2 A bed, the printer is the i3 pro B.
How do I go about testing the resistance of the bed?
Also what should the voltage be coming from the power supply?
At this time its printing perfectly again, just can't hook the heatbed wires up or its instant poof of smoke.

Unplug the heating wires from mainboard, unplug hotbed thermistor, use a multimeter to test the resistance between the 2 ends of thicker wires.Kdixon78 wrote:The heatbed is the MK2 A bed, the printer is the i3 pro B.

The hot bed seems not so good. 0.7ohm will almost double the current, and the MOSFET will be burnt.Kdixon78 wrote:.7 ohms

I have a same simptoms with smoke. Tested the resistance of the bed and get 1.0 ohm. Is this ok? Also, I have:
1. LCD issue with garabage characters.
2. Extruder bracket P4 part bend down.
3. After issue with the smoke bed MOSFET, it seems that Sanguinololu bed MOSFET is burn out.
On Sanguinololu, all of axies is moving, extruder filament motor is moving and the heating of the extruder is ok.
Filament type used is ABS with default values of temperature.
Hot bed temp was rised to quick, less than 1 minute up to 90 degrees.
Please note, this is just assambled new printer. Less then 2 hours of working.
