Is it worth it to buy a bicycle?

Hi all, tell me your opinion on buying a bike, is it worth it or not? and if so, how to choose the best road bike to buy. I have read various articles but can not find anything useful to help me in buying so would like to know here

Quite a difficult situation, it is worth buying if you really need it, but in general, I used to read a lot about cycling and learned that it is very good for our health.
I've read a couple of articles on how to choose the best road bike too, well I will say that a couple of them gave me a lot of good information.
