How to slove the problem of MAX/MIN TEMP error(GT2560)

Hi guys, if your printer shows MAX/MIN TEMP error on the LCD, don't worry, you can refer to the following information to check it, good luck

Above of all,check the wiring of thermistors if you have a single extruder on your printer.The right one should be like this:

Recommended solutions：
1.1 First, check the motherboard. If you get 0℃ and 358 ℃ when you make the thermistor open circuit or short, then the board is good. You can do it as follows.

Note: If your printer is Delta G2/G2S series, before checking this please install the firmware for I3X or I3 pro C, cause when you short out the thermistors with the firmware of G2/G2S, it will always show 0 degrees on the LCD, though it is exactly MAX temp error.

For example,the T_HE2 is shorted out.As a result,the second extruder will always display 358/0 no matter you make it open circuit or short circuit.

1.2 If the board is OK, please check if somewhere of the wire are connected or not.
For example, the thermistor is shorted out as the picture shows:

If so, the current will not go through thermistor, and LCD will display TEMP ERROR. You can refer to the following information:
MAXTEMP ERROR:
1.2.1 If it shows "358/0, room temp/0; Err: MAXTEMP". The extruder thermistor is short.
1.2.2 If it shows "358/0, 358/0; Err: MAXTEMP". Both extruder thermistor and hot bed thermistor are short.
1.2.3 If it shows "room temp/0, 358/0; Err: MAXTEMP BED". The hot bed thermistor is short.
MINTEMP ERROR:
1.2.4 If it shows "0/0,room temp/0; Err: MINTEMP". The extruder thermistor is open circuit.
1.2.5 If it shows "0/0, 0/0; Err: MINTEMP". Both extruder thermistor and hot bed thermistor are open circuit.
1.2.6 If it shows "room temp/0, 0/0; Err:MINTEMP BED". The hot bed thermistor is open circuit.

NOTE: Remember to reset the LCD after you do those experiments. And the MAXTEMP shows in the LCD is not always 385, it’s between 358 and the temperature you set in the firmware here:

#define BED_MAXTEMP 150

1.3 If one of your thermistor is working, you can swap it with the TEMP ERROR one, and see if the thermistor is dead or not.

i am having the same mintemp problem and i think that is everything good connected. on my lcd display it only shows "0/0,room temp/0; Err: MINTEMP".

is something wrong on the pictures ?

Did you try placing one jumper cap to the socket(to verify if the socket was broken) for the thermistor of extruder0?

Or you can plug the thermistor of heatbed to that socket then see how it shows on LCD,you can get the outcome(the socket or the thermistor itself was broken) as per that.

Personally, I bought the Rostock 301 printer, I have a problem in the Extruder and in the extruder that is not heated, the LCD always shows 0 / 0º. I think it may be some printer setup, can anyone help me ??

Pessoal, comprei a impressora Rostock 301, estou com problema nno Extruder e na extrusora que não esta aquece, no visor LCD mostra sempre 0/0º. Penso que pode ser alguma configuração da impressora, alguém pode me ajudar??

Tentei entrar em contato com a empresa por email e pelo skype mas, até o momento não recebe nenhuma resposta.

After finishing an impression, sent from Repetier, a maximum temperature error "ERR MAX TEMP" appeared. Showing the values ​​319º / 320º for the extruder, 67º / 70º for the bed.

I have disconnected the bed, and the extruder cable from the back of the printer, so thermistors should not signal, but the error after resetting, is not erased, nor does it change MAX Temp.

I have put the firmware indicated in the forum for the printer "Mecreator2" but also not be solving the problem.

The three motors of the x, y, z axis and the extruder operate correctly, but there is no way to print, as the error is not erased.

With a multimeter I measured the purple-gray and yellow-brown extruder cables with 630 and 612 ohms with an ambient temperature of 20º.

I have also measured the blue and green wires of the bed, without getting any value.


What is happening? How do I solve this problem?

Hello I recently acquired my very first 3d printer. After a lot of assembly time and the replacement of a faulty engine I am going to calibrate my printer, and during a test to see if my tray was at the correct distance from my extruder, an error appeared on the "LCD ERR MAX TEMP BED" and I saw the temperature of the plate at 270 C while I could put my hand over it.This error does not allow me to print. Try to replace the thermistor of hotend and heatbed.
Then you can get the result:The issue is the broken thermistor or not.

I am having the same issue after installing your latest firmware. I had no temp issues prior to the firmware update and the terminstors test fine.
