G2S Pro hotend leveling problems

Hi,
just assembled my new G2S Pro w/o problems, but when I came to the point to level both hotends I ran into bigger problems.

As described in the instruction I should loose the nuts holding the extruders and turn a bit one extruder to level them. I tried it as much as possible, even with both extruders, but the gap is simply too big. Due to the size of the heater blocks, it is not possible to make big turns with the heatends, instead just ~1/2 rotation each...

So, now I am not sure what to do. Should I completely disassemble one or both hotends and try to screw them together in a "better" position, that calibration is possible? Sounds like a gambling game. Or should I place a thin washer between spider and the hotend-holder when srewing them together?
2nd idea sounds better to me, but I am not sure about the effects on the temperature (temperature distribution from the hotends to the spider)?

Would be glad to hear some other ideas or best - an advice.

Thanks a lot and best regards
Christian
