Leveling Issue with Dual Hot Ends

I have the G2S Pro with Dual Extruders and running into an issue that I have not been able to resolve since building the printer. I have done thru all the posts and emails that have been sent to me from Geeetech and haven't been able to fix the issue.

If you look at this image below, you will see the four point to test for leveling. Points 1,2 and 3 are fine. When I move the printer to position 4, the second hot end hits the plate and the first hot end it still hovering higher. I have the second hot end positioned about a mm higher in all the other positions, it only gets lower when it approaches the fourth point.

Anyone help with this?

Hi,
First of all,you should adjust the 3 Wing nuts beneath the printing bed to level the bed.
Secondly,level the two nozzles by adjusting the M6 nut.
Finally,you can start to the job leveling the entire printer.

I have done all those steps and still it keeps hitting in the fourth position.

I tried a different way of leveling the hot plate and I have made some progress. Using a level was not working, but letting the hot ends hit naturally on the hot bed and moving it around, then seeing where they sat on the plate helped me adjust the bed.

I also found a major problem. I found that one of the driven wheels is bad. This made the third tower not move smoothly. Now I have to find a replacement somewhere.

I saw you said the driven wheel is bad,could you attach a picture of it?

Sorry I threw it away. It wasn't the driven wheel itself, but on of the bearings. I went to the local hobby shop and picked up a few 4mm x 8mm x 3mm bearings. It is now working much better.

First problem was the diagonal rods were different lengths. I had to heat them up and adjust them to the same length. Second issue is the driven wheel bearings. Running some tests now to see how things go. I will post later with results.

So I finally have a working 3d Printer!

First issues was the diagonal rods were not identical in length. I have to heat them up and adjust them to make them all the same length, then adjust the software. Second issue was a couple of bad ball bearing with the driven wheel. Once replaced, I was finally able to adjust the plate and towers.

I have some oozing issues, but I am fine with that. I can finally print something.

So now I have to post another issue with this printer.

I have been able to finally print some great items with this, but had a lot of oozing. So after doing some research, I needed to do some more retraction, especially with a Bowden style printer. I got the printer up to a 10mm retraction and I am almost there, but still some small oozing. So I moved this to 11mm and now part way thru the print the filament is getting caught up between the top of the hotend that has the quick release and the long hollow screw that leads down into the hotend.

Looking for a solution to minimize this gap between the quick release and the long hollow tube that goes down into the hotend. I have issues with this also when I try and load new filament.
