Prusa I3 Pro B

Following http://www.soonwell.com/ebay_file/App_pic/i35_21 Im on step 7.2, assembling the X-Axis Rods and ends. The screw locking fender that is supposed to be screwed down tight to the smooth rod has no set screws. Are there supposed to be some, am I supposed to use something else, or are they not supposed to be screwed down tight?

hi,the smooh rod should be tighten up with M3*16 screw.please look at the picture.

Im beyond that point. Im talking about the screw locking ring, part 19 in the booklet that came with the printer.

is this part?yeah,it has a set screw,it is matched with screw locking ring.it has been assembe well before leaving factory.please check whether it drop out.

Good news is, I got my answer and thanks for that. Bad news is, they didnt come with the locking screw and I havent seen any, either in the bag or anywhere else that will fit in that slot. Any ideas?

Maybe if you are lucky enough,you can find a same one in your garage :D
Or you can contact the customer service to have a new one .

I was able to find a set at Lowes. Thanks for the help guys
