Mounting the MK8 extruder in Acrylic I3 pro B

I recently bought the Acrylic Prusa I3 pro B and cannot figure out the right way to mount the MK8 extruder on the extruder bracket.
The online wiki says that the M4 nuts have to go in between the aluminum plate (No 65) and the plastic support. This is confusing as the M4x16 screws are a little tall and the screws have to be tighten either towards the plastic support or to the aluminum plate, and both ways seems to be wrong.
This image from the assembly guide does not show clearly how to fix the M4 nuts: I wish someone post a picture taken from a different angle of this image as it seems there is no spacing between the blue support part and the aluminum plate: Appreciate your help.
