The threaded rods are 8mm (.311 inch in Diameter) I had to ream the holes out to .312" (5/16") so they would be round and rotate freely. Also lubricated the brass nut and the hole that was reamed. That quieted everything no more squeaking. My problem is I could not get anything to move until I moved the limit switches to the MIN pins not the MAX pin plugs.

Yes, the endstops should be connected to MIN slots.
