Stripping power wires for heating elements

Post by Skwint » Wed Nov 28, 2018 4:32 am

Building an I3 Pro W. Pretty much built.

The heating wires for the extruder and the heatbed need connecting to the green or blue connection points on the bottom of the control board. I don't understand the connection. There is no bare wire visible. Do I need to strip the end of the wires before I put them in?

HI

You thought well.
On your own, you have to remove the insulation from the end of the wires.

It is also good to solder the ends with tin. ;)
