Delta Rostock mini G2s pro-> Diagonal Push Rod broken

Post by TheVIFFT » Mon Dec 05, 2016 3:06 am

So, just beforehand, this is my first printer build so i THINK thats the Problem.....

Yeah, so i bought the G2s pro mini DIY- kit and built it(which was really fun and easy to do) and then i wanted to start the set up process, but already with the first few points on the list( of the official manual) i ran into a problem. One of the motors of the axis didn't had the strenght to push the Carrier up. Downwards it was no Problem. I thought, it might be a Problem with the belt, tried to fix it with losseing an tightening it a bit, but still the same Problem. The motor also sounded quite horrible beacause it just wasn't able to push the carrier with enough force to actually move it. After some thinking about the situation i tried to turn the Diagonal Pushing Rods to check if they work smotthly. One did, one didn't. So i descrewed it and found this HUGE scratch on one of the balls. Its around 3mm long, 1mm deep and 1mm wide. And the ball doesn't moves really good(sometimes not at all...) in its "chamber".

So...this is the situation... my Problem: I don't find any replacements/repeir parts on the whole Internet. I searched for days but i just can't find the right parts. Is there a way I can buy them somewhere? Or maybe even get an replacement by Geeetech? I already sent them an E-Mail to the after-sales-service but i never got a reply...

I would be so grateful if somebody could help me out!!

P.S.: Sorry for bad english, not a native ;)

Hm....no,it was the technical support(via the contact-formular on their website) cause i thought that this adress would make more sense then the sales-service. But I could try to contact the sales service if you think its more suitable =) As it seems the company has a nice support overall, so hopefully this time it'll work

Hy again,

Sorry, I wanted to tell some updates here in the progress...but totally forgot.
But long story short: Big Thank you!
I tried contacting the sales service(as you said I should)...the first time my E-Mail programm somehow didin't send the mail(as I found out a month or so later), tried again aaaand I got in contact with a really nice guy from geetech sale support.
Told and explained him my Problems and just 1-2 weeks later he sent me a package with the replacement parts. They arrived, but somehow(I think it was the langage barrier), there was a misunderstanding of which parts I actually need and so contaced him again, and he sent me the missing parts without aný hassle, which just arrived yesterday. They fit perfectly and I'm more than happy that I can now finish this beautiful printer and have fun with it.
So overall a bit complicated but I never experienced such a nice customer service!!

Also thanks again for your reply here! :)
(and sorry for my late update)

Greetings from a happy German ;)
