M201 Bowden tube not staying attached to extruder

Post by stevemcl » Tue Jul 19, 2016 5:04 am

Hi, I've got the M201 duel extruder model, and the tubes from the extruder to the head don't stay in place,
when the extruders push the filament out, the tubes push out as well,
Is there a way to clamp to tubes to the extruder?
I'm just push fitting them into the extruder,
thanks,

Hi,
I guess you mean the PTFE tubes, are the two tubes all being pushed out?I think you need to plug it into the extruder hard.
Best Regards

We had the same problem- turns out we had the brass nipples on the top when they should be on the bottom. There are teeth inside that hold the tubes in place.
